Family Resource Center Community Support Specialist- Cortland The Family Resource Center (FRC) Community Support Specialist will provide high-quality services to families with young children to promote parenting success and family stability. The FRC Community Support Specialist will provide prenatal and parenting education, child development information and assessments, informal emotional support and crisis intervention, goal planning and connection to community resources. The FRC Community Support Specialist will host family and community events and facilitate activities in the play space. The FRC Community Support Specialist is a Mandated Reporter for child abuse and neglect. This position requires regular evening and weekend hours.

Family Support Specialist- Tompkins The Family Support Specialist will provide high-quality services to Tompkins County families with young children to promote parenting success and family stability. The Family Support Specialist will provide prenatal and parenting education, child development information and assessments, informal emotional support and crisis intervention, goal planning and connection to community resources. Services are provided through a home visiting model. Family Support Specialists are mandated reporters for child abuse and neglect.

Mental Health Consultant- Part Time The Mental Health Consultant will promote healthy social and emotional development of infants and young children by building the confidence, competencies, and skills of caregivers and the Child Development Council team. The Mental Health Consultant will provide a broad range of services that support the relationship between young children and their caregivers, focusing on methods to build resiliency and protective factors.
