Webcast: Town Hall Meeting – Examining the Business Side of Child Care

Providing children in your care with a safe, healthy environment is your number one priority. You do this by offering nutritious menu choices, providing time and space for physical activity, and planning experiences that encourage exploration and discovery. You also do this by performing business responsibilities such as implementing the NYS Child Day Care Regulations, updating and enforcing contracts and policies, and maintaining accurate forms and records. It may not always seem apparent, but many of the things you do on a regular basis help support your program as a business. Join us for this Webcast, where an expert in the field of child care business will walk us through case studies addressing situations similar to ones you may have experienced. Each scenario will be analyzed to see what could have been done differently to result in a more positive outcome for the program, children and families. Questions and concerns from the town hall meeting audience will be addressed, and you will be provided with valuable information on how to fulfill the business maintenance responsibilities of your program.
