Participants will learn how simple activities can engage children’s natural curiosity, and encourage inquiry and problem solving. Deborah will demonstrate that science activities for babies, toddlers and preschoolers can be accomplished with low or no cost materials. OCFS Topics 1,3
11:00 am— 12:30 pm Everyday Math with Lisa Potter, Child Care Solutions, Syracuse, NY.
This interactive workshop will present ideas for participants on activities they can do with children to help build their school readiness math skills, as well as offering providers a variety of ways to use math in their day to day routines. OCFS Topics 1,3
Second Saturday Training Sessions are two 1 1/2 hour trainings with a break for light refreshments.
