Marie Vitucci and Nancy Lee Koschmann – No yoga experience necessary, and no mats! Mindfulness is about being completely present in the here and now. As life-long learners, this may be the most important skill we teach children, especially the young learners. The presenters, both trained instructors, will engage the participants in a fun, easy way of learning how to help children focus, handle stress and calm down. Adults will learn how to encourage positive social skills such as empathy, generosity, kindness and cooperation to affect the environment in your classroom or home-based child care program. Exploring new and user friendly techniques may also lessen your own stress.
