SUNY Video Conference: Addressing Challenging Behavior: The Pyramid Model in Action*

November 3, 2016 @ 6:45 pm - 9:15 pm

The Pyramid Model is a framework for implementation of practices needed to promote young children’s social and emotional competence that can help curb challenging behaviors and set children up for future success in school. Join us for this Video conference that will provide a brief overview of the Pyramid Model. Then panelists will demonstrate specific Pyramid Model techniques and strategies you can use in your program right away to build children’s social emotional skills and reduce challenging behaviors. Guests will also spend time focusing on the importance of family engagement home-program connections and provide you with specific strategies you can use to strengthen the home/program connections in your programs.

Register for Videoconferences here.

OCFS Topics: 1,3,4,7      CDA Topics: 1,3

* This Video conference is the second of two that discusses the Pyramid Model. Both trainings will cover some common information but individually will not cover all content about the Pyramid Model. You do not have to take one Video conference in order to take the other. Taking them both will give you a more complete picture of the Pyramid Model and how it can be used in your program.
