When ‘Red Flags’ Appear in Child Development

A 'red flag' may be hard to define or very concrete. Experienced parents and caregivers learn to carefully monitor progression of each child individually.  When does a 'feeling' about a child's development require action on the part of the caregiver? What is the best way to communicate with parents, and what resources are there for getting development back on track? Registered Nurses from the Early Intervention Program of Tompkins County Health Department will demonstrate delays, assessments and assistance offered by their program.  (2 hrs. *CD,*PD) (Priority given to those who have taken Typical Development  3/14)
