When children are engaged in pretend play with other children, they are hard at work developing skills that help them to regulate their own behavior, work cooperatively with peers and become socially and emotionally ready for Kindergarten and beyond! This workshop will focus on learning to understand, support, and extend these important play opportunities for preschoolers in your lives. Presenter Elizabeth Stilwell directed the Early Childhood Center at Cornell for over 15 years, and has presented trainings at local, state and national conferences on a variety of early childhood topics. (2 hrs. *CD, *P) The cost for this training is $15 if paid by May 30th or $20 if paid after.
